This is a personal record of the animals in my life – past and present.
Some came from difficult backgrounds, others joined us later and helped restore balance.
Current Feline Companions
- Arya: The Queen of the pack
- Bela: The Ambassador. Twin of Cooper. Get’s well with Arya and the other guys.
- Cooper: A feline Casanova and twin of Bela. Does not really like the Queen nor Rain. But get’s tougher every day.
- Kalli: A stray that lived in our garden since we bought our home. Someday He asked for our help an since then he is part of pur pack, living in our sofa and enjoying the indoor live.
Integration Project
We began this journey with Arya, who came to us after a rough start in life. She was already with her fourth family in just two years and had never been properly socialized. As a result, she struggles deeply with other cats.
When the twins, Bela and Cooper, joined our home, tensions rose quickly. Since then, we’ve been living with a mesh door separating both parties — a fragile peace maintained through boundaries.
Then came Kalli, a former stray. His arrival unexpectedly shifted the dynamics. Arya and Bela, once like fire and ice, now show occasional signs of cautious tolerance. It’s still a long road ahead, full of slow progress and careful management, but we’re hopeful. One day, we might become a truly unified pride.
