NecroSlaughter.de was a DIY webzine focused on the loud, fast, and ugly corners of extreme metal. Over more than a decade, I published hundreds of reviews, interviews, and scene reports — covering everything from obscure grindcore demos to international black and death metal releases.
The site existed long before social media shaped how music was discovered. It was hand-coded, self-hosted, and rooted in the idea that the underground deserves archiving, criticism, and attention beyond hype cycles and trends.
Eventually, life got busier, and priorities shifted. The archive remains as a testament to a time when words and noise mattered equally — and the inbox was always full of CDrs, tapes, and xeroxed letters.
